USA Basketball
Coach Phillips led Team USA’s U16/U17 girls to two consecutive gold medal winning performances. First in 2013 during the FIBA Pan America Championships, she led Team USA’s U16 Women’s Team to an undefeated tournament winning the gold in Cancun, Mexico. Subsequently in 2014, she led Team USA’s U17 Women’s Team to a gold medal win at the FIBA World championships in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Sue was no named co-Developmental Coach of the Year by USA Basketball during both of those years.
Archbishop Mitty Monarchs
Coach Phillips also coaches California High School Basketball Powerhouse Archbishop Mitty Monarchs where, over the last 24 years, she has amassed a record of 28 League Championships, 25 Central Coast Section Titles, 11 Nor Cal Championships and an impressive 6 California State Championship titles.
San Jose Cagers
Coach Phillips is currently in her 16th year as Program Director and Head Coach of the San Jose Cagers Women’s Basketball Club. The Cagers play in the American Athletic Union (AAU) and field teams for girls in the sixth grade, middle school, and high school grade levels. The Cagers are a nationally recognized club who participate in multiple NCAA viewing tournaments held annually across the country.
